We took Jax for his first trip to the Houston Zoo on February 19, and it was a beautiful day! We went on a Tuesday and it was not very crowded at all and a perfect day to be outside! Jax was 19 months, and it was the perfect age for him to be able to walk around and look at the animals too! He seemed most interested in the elephants and this was one of the first exhibits we saw! Jax called almost every animal “puppy!” It was cute but funny! We packed a picnic lunch and ate at Hermann Park after the zoo. We made some great memories and were all worn out after our morning at the zoo!
As Ryan and Jax were walking by the birds, all the birds started flying away at once and it scared poor Jax! (You see his arms up in the picture with the birds flying away.) He had his Daddy there to protect him! Jax LOVED being able to run around everywhere and see all the birds at the park!
