Super Shearers: 10 and 11 months flew by!

Jackson is growing so fast and becoming more mobile by the day! Jax is much faster at crawling and wants to be wherever Mommy, Daddy, or Missy are! He got his very first tooth just after 10 months (lower left central incisor). It didn’t seem to bother him too much coming in. He got his second tooth at 11.5 months (lower right central incisor) and his third tooth the day before his first birthday (upper left central incisor). The upper tooth was not fun coming in and caused him fever, congestion, runny nose, and trouble sleeping. Poor baby! Jax started pulling up to standing at 10.5 months and started cruising (holding onto furniture and walking) at 11 months. He can move fast!

Jax started waving bye-bye at 10.5 months and will now wave pretty much anytime we say “bye-bye.” He doesn’t really like bye-bye though as he is going through separation anxiety and doesn’t like Mommy to leave (even walking across a restaurant brought tears). He started clapping his hands together at 11.5 months. He enjoys his time in his little pool in the backyard and swimming at the neighborhood pool. He loves the water! Jax is also taking his bath in the full bathtub now and loves being able to crawl around in the water and splash! He doesn’t seem to mind splashing water in his eyes or face. Jax is talking lots, saying “Ma-Ma,” “Da-Da,” “Do-Do” (sounds like trying to say “dog”). He gives sweet kisses with a big open mouth when asked or after giving him kisses. Jax likes drinking water from his sippy cup now! Some of the foods he’s eating now are homemade yogurt, boiled egg yolks, ground beef and liver, peaches, carrots, zucchini and yellow squash (his favorite!), bananas, applesauce, and chicken. He’s become a pretty good eater!

We are so thankful for our sweet little boy and it is so fun watching him grow and change so fast! Thank you Jesus for baby Jackson!
